I did not write this but it makes me so happy I want to share it with everyone who does not subscribe to Angie's list....

"I took two dogs to Troy Lynn.  I had been searching for a groomer for our two dogs.  One is a 7-1/2 year old chow/mix who had never been professionally groomed and the other, our 6-1/2 year old Bernese Mountain Dog who suffered a stroke 3 years ago and is just now learning to walk again.  She is a very high need dog, not to mention very heavy.

I had called and/or visited several groomers.  My husband and I were moving in with a family member who is not crazy about animals in the house.  So I was really needing a professional grooming for both dogs.  One place I tried all but  flat out refused to take the chow/mix but quoted me a price so high for her - that it was actually higher than what Troy Lynn charged me for BOTH dogs.  I was having no luck with the Berner either.  Since she is seizure prone and requires medication, we really wanted to be with her for the process to monitor her should she need medication.  No one would allow us to stay with our dogs.  This was simply not an option for the Berner.  I was seriously about to the point of tears.  All I wanted was a groomer for my two dogs.  I finally found Troy Lynn, Owner of The Pet Spa at Bear Lake.  And she agreed to take them.  Not only were her prices VERY reasonable, she allowed me to stay with her, right beside my dogs thru the entire process.  She could tell that I was a bit over protective of my pets and accommodated me with a very pleasant attitude.

Troy Lynn is an AMAZING groomer.  She owns her own business after working for other pet grooming companies in the past.  She has a beautiful place with a very clean and professional (custom built by her husband) shop in her basement.  She has such a sweet spirit.  I was not sure about our chow/mix as she does have a bit of an attitude and a very limited circle of friends.  She LOVES Troy Lynn.  I have since taken her back and this time, I dropped her off and picked her up when she was done.  She did wonderfully.  As for the Berner, Troy Lynn was very patient with her.  She worked her tail off with that dog.  The Berner (Katy) weighs about 85 pounds.  It is a difficult task to bathe her.  And Troy Lynn knew exactly what she was getting herself into when I initially spoke to her on the phone.  She agreed to take Katy without hesitation.  The whole process was great.  Troy Lynn understands pet owners with anxiety about their pets.  She understands that our pets are part of our family.  She has dogs of her own and they are also a part of her family.  I HIGHLY recommend Troy Lynn.  You will get a very reasonable price for an outstanding service.  I understand she is now expanding her business to taking care of pets when the owners are unable to.  I am unsure if this is in the owners home or her home.  I can honestly say, given the fact that my husband and I have put 3 hard years into the rehab of our Berner when she was left unable to walk, that I would completely trust Troy Lynn to take care of Katy in the event we go on vacation. And if you knew me and how I am with that dog - you would realize what a monumental statement that is.   We have not gone on any type of vacation since Katy had her stroke unless it is a situation that allows us to take our dogs with us.  I feel very blessed to have found Troy Lynn.  Give her a try.  You will be very happy that you did."
